This study uses the Schwartz’s theory of values, O'Reilly et al. theory of organizational values, and Ayoko and Pekerti’s theory of types and quality of conflict. On the basis of these theories, the present study aims to examine the effects of individual and group values on occupational trust and conflict. It also aims to explore how the association between conflict and trust is affected by the adjustment of communication openness. Methodologically, this study is based on a survey that includes a sample of 225 employees of Agriculture Organization in Khorasan Razavi Province. The research findings indicate that the level of income is significantly and positively associated with constructive reaction to conflict and individual values of success. While individual and organizational values were found significantly correlated, the results do not support a significant relationship between organizational values and varying types and quality of conflict. It was also observed that process conflict, communication conflict, duration and strength of conflict are significantly and negatively correlated with trust. Moreover, the communication openness decreases the effects of process conflict, communication conflict, duration and strength of conflict on the perception of organizational trust.
