This article aims to investigate the association between perception of social justice and occupational satisfaction. According to the existing theories, there are three major aspects of social justice. This article is based on the results of a survey which includes 265 employees at the University of Mazandaran and Education Department of Mazandaran Province. According to the results of this analysis, the correlation between the two key variables of this study (that is, social justice and occupational satisfaction) is 0.7. The results also show that 48.8 per cent of changes in occupational satisfaction are associated with social justice. Moreover, the results indicate that the perception of distributive justice has a more important effect on occupational satisfaction than the two other kinds of social justice.
