This study focuses on the association between cultural globalization and women’s alienation. It uses sociological approach with particular reference to the theory developed by Anthony Giddens. The fields of this study are three cities: Tehran, Shiraz, and Estahban. The results of this study are based on a survey that includes 2228 female respondents. According to the results of this study, three major patterns can be highlighted. First, the average of alienation is 18.92. It is higher for women in Tehran and Shiraz as compared with women in Estaban. Second, women’s alienation is significantly and positively affected by modernization, new social identity, materialism, and awareness of globalization. Third, women’s alienation is significantly and negatively affected by family dialogue and respect to women’s rights. These major patterns have been supported both by preliminary analyses and by multivariate and logistic regression analyses.
