Abstract

This paper considers the university campuses as vital places for the process scientific socialization. It deals with these key research questions: what is the role of the university campus in the students’ scientific life? How do they perceive it? Accordingly, this study has provided research-based evidence to respond to these key research questions from the students’ perspective. The discussion of this paper is based on the analysis of data collected from 60 university students through open-ended questionnaires. The most important result of this analysis relates to the fact that the university campuses do not play significant role in the students’ scientific life, which is far beyond their expectations.
