This study aims to examine how the issues of knowledge, skill and attitudes of citizenship have been represented in the school-textbooks. It focuses on the school-textbooks of the educational system 6-3-3 in the educational year of 2018-2019. It employs the method of quantitative content analysis. The present analysis focuses on three groups of school-textbooks: Social Studies textbook of second-year primary school level, Social Studies textbook of first-grade of high school, and Sociology textbook of second-grade of high school level. The results of this analysis confirm the fact the bottom-line conclusion that the school textbooks lack sufficient and balanced attentions towards issues associated with citizenship education. This requires substantial revision in curriculum of the educational system, leading to the strong emphasis of issues associated with citizenship education in the school-textbooks.
