[English]

Objectives: This study aims to investigate the lived experience of Tehrani women living with their paternal family after divorce. Methods: The research employed a qualitative methodology using a phenomenological approach. For this purpose, 20 divorced women born between 1991 and 2000 in Tehran were interviewed using snowball sampling. After obtaining their informed consent, data were collected through semi-structured individual interviews. Interviews continued until theoretical saturation, and all collected data were transcribed and reviewed on paper. Data validity was obtained through participant review.  Results: The research findings show that individuals' quality of life after divorce is influenced by a set of economic, social, psychological, and family factors. Economic stability and access to specialized counseling provide a foundation for a safe and peaceful life and better decision-making. In addition, social relationships and emotional and existential support from the family play an important role in creating a sense of belonging and life satisfaction after divorce. Furthermore, conscious living, a sense of abundance, and freedom of choice can provide the basis for rebuilding the personalities of young women within the family environment after divorce. Together, these factors contribute to improving quality of life and fostering a more fulfilling family life after divorce. Conclusion: Women born in the 1370s live in an environment characterized by greater social acceptance, more modern education, and families with more open attitudes. By entering the economic and social fields, the new generation replaces traditional values with new ones. This type of lived experience is caused by psychological factors and is constantly repeated, causing cultural and social dynamics. In general, life after divorce with the paternal family is considered a necessary foundation for understanding personal and family life together with social well-being.
